She speaks about as much english as i do spanish. We are both in our twenties, and i see her in the gym every now and then. She usually comes in with her mom who does speak english. I know how to introduce myself, but I don’t know what i should say after that. Should i just introduce myself and leave it at that, I want her to know i am interested though. Should I ask her out right after i introduce myself? Where would I take her? Any other advise?

am Bangladeshi. I am post graduate. But due to my poor English language proficiency I don’t get a good work. A friend advices me to improve my spoken & written English. Learn difficult words from dictionary & at night when I return home from my odd job, I try to learn English grammar? I have been doing these activities since three days. Please advice me –my activities to learn English is okay or not. if not, please advice.
Will be moving to Malaysia soon and wanted to know which state/area is the most English speaking? I am fluent in English and Chinese but have very little understanding of Malay.

I am a High School art teacher and I have a group of Spanish speaking students who can also speak English. They are constantly giggling and laughing when they speak Spanish & I don’t feel comfortable in my own classroom. I think it is great to be bilingual but I am not and I also don’t feel I should have to learn Spanish. Not to make this sound rude but our national language is English and that is what we should speak first.
I know that it’s a Japanese accent, but where does it come from?
Lets say that a Japanese person learns English from someone whose native language is German. Would they pick up on that German accent? Guess that’s a stupid question. Of course they would.
But for writing purposes, which accent would you use for a Japanese character speaking English? British?
Some examples would be most appreciated. Sorry for writing circles around myself.
